Excellence in Education Student Instructor Scholarship

Prospective students only

Supports qualified candidates pursuing a Student Instructor program at Elaine Sterling Institute.

Eligibility requirements

Hold a current professional license in esthetics, nail technology, cosmetology, or barbering
Have at least 2 years of professional experience in your licensed field
Meet all Elaine Sterling Institute admissions requirements
Be accepted into an eligible Student Instructor program
Be able to fully commit to the Student Instructor program schedule
Be available to attend at the Buckhead campus

Video submission

Submit a about 2 minutes video answering:

“1) Why do you want to become an instructor in your chosen field? 2) What qualities make you a strong educator or mentor? 3) How would receiving this $500 scholarship support your educational and career goals?”

Share via Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube, OneDrive, or Vimeo. Make sure anyone with the link can view it.

Student responsibility

Recipients must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), including attendance, academic performance, and professional conduct standards, throughout the program.

Terms & conditions

This scholarship is a non-cash award and has no cash value.
Scholarship funds are posted directly to the student's ledger and are not paid directly to the student.
Scholarship funds are posted in equal increments per payment period, in accordance with the student's payment period schedule.
Recipients must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), including attendance, academic performance, and professional conduct standards.
Scholarships may only be applied toward eligible educational costs as determined by the Institute.
